Londoners at Home

Photographically I was raised in the 35mm black and white tradition of Helen Levitt, Robert Frank and Cartier-Bresson. The only subject I wanted to photograph was the poignancy of everyday people in their everyday life. I was passionate about the camera as my tool to connect with others, as I still am over 50 years later. Living in London, I made portraits of working class people in their homes using a 2 ¼” camera on a tripod and made silver prints.
